Wukong is really nice Top/Jg and i have the experience of playing with one :3
also this is why i choose Premades over go solo ... in a premade of people who you know and play ofter it will be more easy to comunicate , easy to understand each other movements and and work as team as well.
1) Call top (For some reason, not too many people want top) 2) Do perfectly fine 3) Laugh quietly to myself while I watch the rest of my team fight each other 4) Have a nice cup o' tea with the Cho'gath in my lane and discuss why it is that our teams are more focused at each other than at the other team
Well, at least, that's what would happen if I was first or second pick occasionally...the RNG sees fit to always make me last pick, and I always get dumped with ADC or support. -.-
I can't even explain to you... we go into a game and then I want to play support and the dumb ass sivir just keeps feeding intentionally and then the tallon that just so happends to be playing well calls me a noob for terrible support... -.- i get so pissed
try dominion, at first it may seem wierd but if you start liking it then u don't have to worry about the SR meta and if ur team is bad it will most likely finish befor you are even able to surrender lol
Nah, I was 1500 but I used to never dodge, I dropped to 1250 because of trolls who would go afk in the middle of the game because there were two tops or two junglers or two mids.. :\ Ever since I've started que dodging this behaviour, I've been able to get back up to atleast 1350 but it's still a challenge trying to get all that elo back when the timer is 1 hour
I'd rather get in practice getting destroyed in 20 minutes or possibly winning the game (because you never know how stupid the other team is) than sit and wait for another hour before attempting to play again.
And Hotori is right, breaking meta isn't a reportable offense, no matter how many people seem to think otherwise
Well to be honest, it's a reportable offense if its creating a negative experience for others in the game ^^ Going against meta isn't reportable if everyone on your team agrees and is happy to try it, other wise, hi-jacking their lane is just counted as griefing
Being 'forced' to go into a certain lane when you don't want to isn't reportable because in ranked, you should have learned all roles to really be taken seriously. Your ability to play every role is actually what determines how high you get in Solo Queue. It's a part of ranked. For a certain role only, you would usually only play in team ranked. The Summoners Code first rule is "Support your team". Supporting your team means being able to accept a role different to the one you originally wanted, especially when other roles have already been taken (AKA Pick order at champ select).
Even though I feel this is not the right place to post something so long, at the same time other visitors reading this page should know this too. It's a common misconception in the League community despite Riot repeatedly trying to educate people just how violations work. To clarify, you can't be banned for playing against meta. As Zileas once put it, "but you can still get banned for being a jerk".
This comment by Pendragon, "The player in particular has/had a tendency to turn against people when he's not getting his way
- Didn't get ganks /dives tower - Plays "non meta" only when they don't get the role they "call" - Feeds when team won't surrender" which is found here [link]
Explains pretty much what most trolls do. In this situation, playing against the meta didn't mean taking AD Janna mid, it meant a troll forcing himself into a lane even when the role was called and picked. No one planned on having two AP carries mid, the two AP carries going mid didn't set it up or agree on it. It consisted of two solo queues trying to go mid and forcing their way into the lane, playing "chicken" to see who changes lane first. These types of insistent jerks are the ones you can report, because they are creating a negative impact on the game, INTENTIONALLY.
Here's a simple snippet from the Tribunal: "Can I be banned for not playing the meta?
Players are not banned by the Tribunal for not playing the meta; they are banned for consistently creating negative experiences for others.
We have data suggesting that reviewers of Tribunal cases are very thoughtful and accurate in their verdicts, so if you were reported for not playing the meta but were being a positive player, you can expect to be judged fairly.
In general, players should feel empowered to play what they want and to try new strategies; however, this does not give you a license to be disrespectful or rude to your fellow gamers."
Basically, trying your own strategy that isn't in the meta isn't looked down upon. It's when you troll for the sake of trying to get the role you want. If Hotori had his own way, he would be the only AP mid. Hotori doesn't actually want a 2nd AP mid. But saying, "Ok, duo mid then", is a way to force others into picking another role or dodging the queue. Being a jerk like that, yeah, it's reportable, especially when it means your team is missing a role and a lane is left open for the enemy to take tower. I've had games where two people went mid while there was no one left who could take top lane. Neither of the mid duo wanted to defend top lane so they were both reported for assisting enemy team.

This is why I main support :3 Yeah I feel the 45 minute que wait in ranked is a bit extreme I defintly perfered when it was 15 minutes but I do feel I saw a drop in people being jerks after it that will actually work together. Still there are a lot of butts out there. Very nice comic overall.
True, and it's always the same type of players that end up supporting or jungling, resulting in a lower elo and a negative k/d for them Shame nobody could just be like 'Oh I'll support this time, i've carried last game with 20/5 already' instead of demanding mid a ton games over again.
I don't know about you, but I often have to fight for jungle now. It's so annoying and then someone ends up switching to smite too so we have two junglers. Then I try to be nice and take solo top; lo and behold, I get demolished by a tanky solo top. :c
